Nude-ish Yoga: Sun Salutations and Baddha Konasanas

After some Office Hours with our yoga mentor today, I thought I would make a change in names with regard to Naked Yoga. One of the most humbling parts of diversity is when someone is able to bring a new perspective. As I continue to grow Broz Fitness and teach more Yoga, my goal is to create a space for everyone to feel comfortable in. Most importantly, this means using words that not only make everyone feel safe but includes everyone.

The first of such humble changes is to transition from Naked Yoga to Nude Yoga. Naked feels less welcoming. Nude is something we can all comprehend without harsh feelings.

If Nude isn’t your thing, you can always practice in underwear.

  2. Tonight I’m practicing on a yoga mat from You can find all sorts of yoga accessories by including blocks, straps, mats, bolsters, and blankets.
